Ongoing activities
- Regular testing new tags: Selections of tags to test, checking
results, informing developers (Gunter)
- Release testing using valgrind (Gabriele)
- Release testing for physics performance on Grid ( Alberto, Andrea)
Developments
- Involve more collaborators in routine testing procedure
- Improve documentation on process and tools in use.
- Note: this requires improved web interface to bonsai DB (Software management wg.)
- Enhance testing based on SPI-nightly build and test system (GF)
- Complete or correct setup for new systems (Mac 10.6, Windows, SLC5/gcc41, SLC5/icc)
- Extend coverage, ie. add more of of tests and examples into test suite
- Study possibility to automatically generate traceback in case of crash
- Automation of CPU performance measurements based on benchmarks suite
to monthly development releases (*)
Note: Work items marked with (*) are lacking manpower.
